Description
An elegant early 20th-century French cast iron Jacob Delafon bath, featuring a classic double-ended design and decorative lion’s paw feet.
Originally salvaged from a château in the Ardennes region of northern France, this substantial antique bath is a fine example of traditional French sanitaryware. Its beautifully balanced proportions, freestanding design and ornate cast iron feet make it an impressive centrepiece for both period and contemporary bathrooms.
Condition and restoration
The bathtub is currently offered in unrestored condition, retaining its original character. The interior requires enamel resurfacing, while the exterior can be refurbished and painted to suit the customer’s preferred colour scheme.
