Antique Cast Iron Bathtub Rogeat

A late 19th century cast iron empire bathtub manufactured by Rogeat (Lyon). Salvaged from a house in the Garonne region of France the bathtub has undergone restoration by us in the UK, including shot blasting the exterior and interior and a new enamel interior. The exterior is currently raw untreated cast iron and could either be primed and painted, given a clear lacquer coating or black iron paste finish.
Beautifully designed and fabricated from better quality cast iron than a modern bathtub, these bathtubs offer a comfortable reclined position and are very deep emulating a hydrotherapy environment.
