A stunning cast iron rolltop bateau bathtub on a plinth from around 1890. Central waste.
The bath has recently undergone a new modern interior resurfacing so the inside is as new without any scratches or chips.
The exterior paint has been removed and stripped back to its original raw cast iron. It could be left as is with a clear lacquer or repainted or given a brushed metal wax finish.

If you sit in this bath a person with height up to 5’10 will be able to have their legs flat along the bottom. These old baths were designed to sit in a reclined position rather than lie fully flat like a full length modern bath. They feel deeper than a traditional modern bath.
